Barbershops
Saturday 4 pm, six heads waiting?Everyone takes a ticket and comes back on time.
Your clients come in when they like — that’s the concept, and it’s a good one. Carden backs it up: everyone sees their turn on their phone, nobody walks out at the sight of a full shop, and you cut in peace.
- Carden Salon, €109 a month per shop. No commitment.

We know your day
Three things that cost you, every day.
- The client who sizes it up and leaves
- He opens the door, sees five people waiting, can’t tell whether it’s 20 minutes or an hour and a half. He says “I’ll come back”. He doesn’t — he’s at the barber across the road.
- “Is it much longer?” — ten times a day
- Every question interrupts a cut. The counter turns into a referee’s desk: who was here first, who “booked” by text, who’s jumping the queue.
- Saturday packed, Tuesday empty
- You turn people away on Saturday and stare at empty chairs on Tuesday. Both problems have the same cause: demand can’t see when you’re free.
What Carden changes
Your clients come in without planning. That’s your model, not your problem.
- Their turn, visible on their phone
- Ticket at the kiosk or online, position and wait time live. The client goes for a walk and comes back at the right moment. Nobody waits standing up, nobody walks out.
- Walk-ins and appointments, in the same queue
- No two systems to juggle: one flow, recalculated continuously, that the team takes in at a glance.

What you get out of it
A calm salon, a team free to work.
- Quiet weekdays, filled with stories
- Tuesday 2 pm, two free chairs? A “a cut, right now” story goes out to your local followers. Impulse clients exist — they’re just waiting to see a free chair.
- Zero effort for the team
- Your barbers cut. Clients take their own ticket, the queue runs itself, the screen in the shop does the rest.

On my way
You might be thinking
“A booking system will kill my flow.”
It’s not a diary, it’s a queue. It moves as your day moves — a quick client, a late one, a walk-in: everything adjusts, nobody has to manage it.
“On our busiest days, Carden handles the entire client journey, automated and optimised. We feel so much calmer in the salon!”
How it works
No building work. Your team cuts, Carden runs the queue.
We install
A kiosk or a simple QR code at the entrance. No building work.
Today’s team checks in
One tap on the tablet. No rota to build.
Everyone takes a ticket
A walk outside, a text to come back on time.
Whatever your set-up
Four ways of welcoming clients, the same overflowing salon.
- Neighbourhood barbershop
- Two to four chairs, mostly walk-ins: the queue replaces the running order you keep in your head.
- Shop in a shopping centre
- You live off passing trade. Part of your slots stays reserved for the same day.
- Appointment-only studio
- You only take appointments: Carden picks up what cancellations leave behind.
- Several shops
- One view per shop and a combined view: same rules, same figures, everywhere.
What we install
A kiosk, in the format that suits you. Or just a QR code.

What people ask us before starting.
Do you also take appointments through Fresha or Treatwell?Carden Story
Several salons?Carden for chains
Will it force me to switch to appointments?+
No, quite the opposite. Carden was born in walk-in salons: it’s a queue, not a diary. Your clients keep coming in when they like — they simply see their turn instead of guessing it.
Will my barbers have to learn new software?+
No. Clients take their own ticket, at the kiosk or on their phone. Your barbers start and finish a service with one tap, and the queue adjusts itself. Most teams are up and running within half a day.
What happens when a client is late or doesn’t show?+
The queue absorbs it: it moves on to the next person and recalculates the times shown for everyone. Nobody has to redo the maths, and the next client is told their turn is coming up.
Do I need equipment, and does it take long to set up?+
Not necessarily. A QR code in the window is enough to start: your clients take a ticket on their phone, and we set everything up remotely in an hour at most. A floor-standing kiosk takes a little more preparation. Either way, no building work.
And if it doesn’t suit us?+
You stop whenever you like: the subscription is monthly, with no commitment.
Can I keep my current booking system?+
Yes. Carden connects to it read-only and handles what your diary can’t: walk-ins, the real wait and slots freed at the last minute.
Not in the right place?
Every trade loses its slots in its own way.
